Grants available for aviation, aerospace education
The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission is accepting applications for the Fiscal Year 2020 Aeronautics Commission Aviation & Aerospace Education Grant Program. The deadline to apply is May 31. The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission encourages any learning institutions or organizations that offer an aviation or aerospace-minded educational program or camp to apply.
Grants are for primary through post-secondary education programs. The funds are part of more than $270,000 the agency provides each year to expose more young people to science, technology, engineering and math careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.

Chesapeake Energy completes exchange offer
Chesapeake Energy Corp. has agreed to refinance about $884 million in debt as part of a senior note exchange offer.
As part of the deal, Chesapeake is set to issue $918.5 million in new 8% senior notes due 2026 in exchange for $228 million in 6.625% senior notes due 2020, $134 million in 6.875% senior notes due 2020, $381 million in 6.125% senior notes due 2021 and $140 million in 5.375% senior notes due 2021.
The exchange is scheduled for Wednesday and represents almost 60 percent of Chesapeake's total existing senior notes.
